Caving & Cave Tours in Indiana

Forget the cornfield stereotype for a minute. Southern Indiana buckles into real hills (the Hoosier National Forest alone covers more than 200,000 acres of them), with limestone bluffs, hidden waterfalls, and caves threaded underneath. Guides run hiking, horseback, and rock climbing trips through this country, and the White and Ohio Rivers add kayaking, canoeing, and, when the water comes up, rafting.

The lake brings guided watersports, birdwatching runs strong along the shoreline, and photography tours chase the light where the sand meets the water.

Underground, on a limestone face, or on a remote forest trail from the saddle, they bring the specialized gear, the local knowledge, and the safety protocols, plus the ecology and history that turn a walk into a trip worth retelling. They also keep groups to Leave No Trace, which matters in country this fragile. The practical upshot: you get Indiana's best terrain without owning the gear or doing the homework.
