Adventure Hubs ("we," "us," or "our") is a product of Modern Adventure. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use adventuretourhubs.com and the operator tools built on it.
Information We Collect
Account information
When you create an operator account, we collect your email address and a password (stored as a hashed credential via Supabase Auth — we never see your plaintext password).
Business information
During signup and in your account settings, we collect your business name, location, activity type, contact details (phone, email, website), operating hours, and branding preferences (colors, logo letter). This information is displayed publicly on your operator profile in the Adventure Hubs directory.
Usage information
We collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and referrer URLs. This data is used to diagnose errors and improve the service. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.
How We Use Your Information
- To provision and operate your Adventure Hubs operator account and branded website
- To display your business in the Adventure Hubs public directory
- To send transactional emails related to your account (confirmation, password reset)
- To diagnose technical issues and improve the platform
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in a Supabase-managed PostgreSQL database hosted on AWS infrastructure. All data is encrypted in transit via TLS and at rest. We use row-level security policies to ensure operators can only access their own data. While we take reasonable precautions, no transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Adventure Hubs:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and storage
- Vercel — web hosting and edge delivery
Each of these providers has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data processed on our behalf.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie issued by Supabase Auth to keep you logged into your operator account. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking scripts.
Public Directory Listings
Business information you enter during signup — including your business name, location, activity types, description, and contact details — is displayed publicly on your operator profile page and may be indexed by search engines. If you delete your account, your public profile is removed from the directory.
Your Rights
You may at any time:
- Update your business information from the account settings page
- Request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us
- Request a copy of the data we hold about you
Children's Privacy
Adventure Hubs is intended for use by business operators. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Adventure Hubs after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
