Fishing & Hunting in North Dakota

The Badlands of western North Dakota do not ease you in. Buttes drop away in bands of rust and gray, canyons cut through ground that looks solid until it isn't, and petrified stumps sit where forests stood millions of years ago. Theodore Roosevelt National Park anchors this country, and it's where most guided hiking and horseback trips head first. The Missouri River runs through the middle of the state like a spine.
