A 501(c)(7) outdoor-oriented hiking and social club founded in 1913 when a small group of Bay Area hikers began Sunday-morning walks on Mt. Tamalpais. With roughly 700 members, the club has organized outings and hosted trips at its Mt. Tam and Echo Summit lodges ever since, with special interests in conservation, recreation, and hospitality.
