  Donna and her family are amazing! Highly recommend for anyone or family who wants an introduction to trail riding. Our experience started with a brief intro, direction on how to mount your stallion 😉, and a 10 min warm up in the ring to understand how to communicate with your horse. Next was a 1 hr guided ride on their property. Donna was incredibly patient and sweet to my 8 year old boy (his first time riding) and answered all his questions and corrected him along the way. Thank you Donna and family for the experience and sharing your beautiful energy with us!

  I’ve ridden here quite a few times over the last few years (since 2022). I’ve been on the 1 hour ride around the ranch and have gone on multiple 2 hour rides at the park. Yesterday I got to go back after not riding for a bit & bring my boyfriend who proposed on a ride! The guides knew and helped set it all up for the perfect photo opportunity/background. The people, the horses, the place - it’s all wonderful. There is a deep sense of appreciation for Arbuckle Trail Rides. For comparison purposes, I’ve ridden at many places in my life all across the country and world, and no other place compares to the amazing experience here. That’s why I drive from DFW rather than going somewhere closer! Even then, it’s only about an hour and a half. You can feel the love for horses and riding. It’s a lifestyle. 1000/10! I can’t wait to continue coming back as long as they’re open. It’s now an even more cherished place and experience for me and will be forever! Thank you all!❤️

  A great experience from beginning to end. We were paired with a horse and practiced a bit in a pen on the ranch and then drove to the Chickasaw National Recreation Area. Donna was a patient, friendly and knowledgeable guide for the two hour ride. The kids loved how the horses picked up the speed on a couple of inclines. Next time, however, I'll be doing some leg stretches before the ride.

  They were amazing! They took the time to fetch you to the horse and saddle. They gave you a quick lesson on how to handle them. They took more time if you didn't feel comfortable. You could tell they really cared for their horses and their customers. I highly recommend them!
