  When I was looking for info, I couldn’t find much about the tram/hayride/wagon ride. We did this today and it was great. The guide was informative and kind. Everything ran on schedule. We were in a wagon with a shade, very comfortable (not a hayride, though he said there is that option if they have more people). It was a great way to see Cades Cove! The only downside is you can’t stop, but it was a good overview with lots of information.

  My husband and I had a fantastic experience at this riding stable. We showed up on a Wednesday morning expecting to drive the Cades Cove Loop and had forgotten that they close the road for vehicles on Wednesdays. We could not find a parking spot and pulled into the stable to turn around. The lady (I’m sorry I forgot her name) running the place was outside letting people know not to park in their lot unless they were riding. I asked about a ride and she gave me the information on the spot and we booked a walk in ride for both of us. The staff were all extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Our guide Kay was fantastic! She knew that I had only ridden a few times and that I had not had the best experiences. She did everything she could to make my ride comfortable and memorable. The horses are beautiful and well taken care of. The staff all work together and genuinely seem to love each other and where they work. I could not be happier with our experience. Thank you to Cades Cove Riding Stables and to Kay!!! We will definitely be back :)

  Had a blast riding with Olivia & Jack as our tour guides in the Smoky Mountains. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Smaller trail riding group made it easier for us to not get separated. Two of us from our party rode while the rest of us (ages 3.5 to 93) did a carriage ride, so we could all do something while there. So much fun and reasonably priced.

  Had an AWESOME time!! They were very flexible with rearranging our booking (luckily there was alternate availability). Such an unforgettable experience riding in the National Park.. the employees there were extremely helpful and diligent.. they added a second trail guide at the end of our party to make sure that my 7-year old was able to keep up and remain safe. The gentleman even got off of his horse and walked my sons horse through certain parts. Could NOT be happier with our time there!! (Not for the faint of heart for sure!!)
