Guided trout fishing and kayak tours on the Lower Mountain Fork River below Broken Bow Lake in the Ouachita National Forest of southeastern Oklahoma. The Lower Mountain Fork is Oklahoma's premier cold-water trout tailwater — fed by deep releases from Broken Bow Dam and stocked year-round with rainbow and brown trout up to trophy size. Wade and float trips cover the Re-Regulation Dam zone, the Spillway Creek confluence, and the Lower Mountain Fork canyon stretches inside Beavers Bend State Park. Fly fishing, light spinning, and beginner instruction are all available, along with scenic kayak tours through the cypress-lined lower river. The Ouachita pine-and-hardwood corridor draws bald eagles, river otters, and excellent fall foliage. Trips run year-round with peak conditions November through May.
