Cog Wild Bicycle Tours

Bend, OR
Mountain BikingHiking Tours

Cog Wild Bicycle Tours has been running guided mountain bike trips in Bend, Oregon's legendary trail network since 2001, operating in one of the top MTB destinations in the United States with over 300 miles of purpose-built singletrack on high desert volcanic terrain. The trails radiate outward from Bend across ancient lava flows, pumice flats, and ponderosa pine forest managed by the Deschutes National Forest and the Bend Park and Recreation District, with iconic routes like Phil's Trail Complex, Funner, and the McKenzie River Trail within easy reach. Cog Wild offers half-day, full-day, and multi-day guided trips calibrated to rider skill level—from beginner flowy trails to technically demanding black diamond routes through the Lava Island and Deschutes Canyon areas. Guides provide Trek demo bikes, helmets, and hydration, and are certified Wilderness First Responders with deep knowledge of trail conditions across seasons. The Bend trail network is rideable from April through November, with long summer days enabling dawn-to-dusk epics above the Cascade foothills.

Rogue Wilderness Adventures

Galice, OR
Whitewater RaftingFishing & Hunting

Rogue Wilderness Adventures has been guiding multi-day and day raft trips down the Wild Rogue River corridor since 1978, launching from Galice and Grants Pass through the protected Wild Rogue Wilderness in southern Oregon. The lower Rogue is a federally designated Wild and Scenic River, carving 40 miles of canyon through old-growth Douglas fir, Port Orford cedar, and myrtle wood forests before reaching Foster Bar. Class III–IV rapids like Rainie Falls, Mule Creek Canyon, and Blossom Bar challenge experienced paddlers, while Class II family sections near Galice offer a gentler introduction to the canyon. Multi-day trips follow primitive riverside lodges and drift camps maintained under a special Forest Service permit, with guided fly fishing and wildlife watching—black bear, river otter, and osprey are common sightings. Day trips run spring through fall; the multi-day wilderness float is widely considered the premier wilderness river experience in the Pacific Northwest.

Adventure Touring in Oregon

Oregon adventure tourism operates across one of the most geographically varied states in the country. The Rogue River from Grants Pass to Gold Beach is the state's most celebrated guided raft corridor, with multi-day wilderness float trips through forested canyon terrain accessible only by river. The Deschutes River tailwater is one of the premier guided fly fishing rivers in the Northwest. Guided hiking in the Columbia River Gorge, Crater Lake, and the Three Sisters Wilderness draws visitors year-round. Guided mountain biking in the Bend area has grown rapidly on a trail network that tops 300 miles, and guided horseback riding operates in the Wallowa Mountains and high desert country of the east.
